BUILDING SERVICES II | QSB 2714


For building services II, there were four topics covered : -

1. Fire Protection System
2. Vertical Transportation
3. Mechanical & Air-conditioning Systems
4. Electricity Supply & Distribution

For this subject, there was a mid-semester examination and one group assignment.








For this group assignment, we had 6 in our group. We were required to choose a building as our case study and choose one of the building's services provided and compare and contrast with other types and recommend an alternative to replace the existing type. We choose air cooling system out of the four topic. It was the topic which I was not good at. However it gave me a better understanding of how air-conditioning works.

We ran into several difficulties. One of the reasons were the time constraint in addition  with other subject's submission, everything was chaotic. Our presentation day was postponed a week due to haze.
