For construction technology 3, the topics covered were industralised building system (IBS), retaining walls, dewatering, curtain wall, pre-stressing, grouting, bridge construction, tension membrance roof.
For this subject, there was a mid semester examination, where the topic, IBS were tested. Out of all the three, construction technology 1,2 and 3, I did my worst in this semester. I got fairly distracted in this semester but I will work harder as the semester is still not to an end, can maintain my overall GPA.
ASSIGNMENT
As for our assignment, we were required to choose an unfinished building (construction site) which uses IBS. My group choose Sekelah Kompleks Darul Kifayah which was located near Batu Caves. The site supervsor was a very knowledgeable and helpful man. After leaving the meeting room, we left to the site. Before entering, I made sure that I was safety prep. I was very satisfied with the site visit as I gain knowledge which cannot be found in the classroom. The assignment was done with ease as we had all the information we need.
